The 22nd council meeting of the Military Institute of Science and Technology was held on its campus in Dhaka on Monday with education adviser Wahiduddin Mahmud in the chair.
The meeting was graced by the presence of general Waqar-uz-Zaman, chief of army staff, admiral M Nazmul Hassan, chief of naval staff and air chief marshal Hasan Mahmud Khan, chief of air staff, an ISPR release said.
Among the council members, lieutenant general S M Kamrul Hassan, principal staff officer, armed forces division, Md Ashraf Uddin, secretary, ministry of defence, major general Md Mahbub-ul Alam, vice-chancellor of the BUP, major general Md. Nasim Parvez, commandant MIST, major general Md Hasan Uz Zaman, engineer in chief, army headquarters, major general Khandaker Muhammad Shahidul Emran, commandant BMA and professor Md Kabirul Islam from BUET were present at the meeting.
Discussions at the meeting centred on MIST鈥檚 future development, culminating in several key decisions.
