
The Secondary School Certificate and equivalent examinations results will be published today.
The results will be handed over to prime minister Sheikh Hasina at Ganabhaban in the capital at 10:00am today.
Then the prime minister will give her approval to publish the results, said Dhaka Education Board chair professor Tapan Kumar Sarkar.
He also said that after that the results would be published from educational institutions and online at 11:00am.
Education minister Mohibul Hassan Chowdhury will announce the details of the results at a press briefing to be held in the conference room of the education ministry at the secretariat at 12:30pm today, he added.
A notice issued by the Dhaka Education Board on May 6 said that the results would be published from educational institutions and online at 11:00am.
The notice said that the result sheet can be downloaded from the Dhaka Education Board’s website (www.dhakaeducation board.gov.bd) by clicking the result corner and entering the educational institution’s EIIN.
The result sheet can also be downloaded from the www.educationboardresults.gov.bd by entering roll and registration numbers.
Examinees can also get results through SMS by typing SSC, first three letters of the board’s name, roll and year (SSC Dha 123456 2024) and sending this to 16222.
This year the SSC and equivalent examinees started on February 15.
The number of the SSC and equivalent examinees this year is 20,24,192, examination centres is 3,700, and educational institutions is 29,735.
