Bangla Academy in association with Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation has organised a week-long Baishakhi fair on its premises.
The event titled Baishakhi Mela 1432 was jointly inaugurated by Industries adviser Adilur Rahman Khan and cultural affairs adviser Mostofa Sarwar Farooki on Monday.
The fair comprises more than hundred stalls featuring different art, crafts, cloths and food stalls as well as a special discount book shop of Bangla Academy.
The fair will end on April 20.
Earliar, the Press Institute of Bangladesh director general Faruk Wasif delivered Nababarsha Baktrita 1432 at the scademy.
