Nurul Islam Mozumder has been promoted to deputy managing director of Janata Bank PLC as per a finance ministry circular, said a press release.
Prior to this, he served as general manager of the bank. He joined Janata Bank as an assistant system analyst in 1999.
He obtained his bachelor鈥檚 and master鈥檚 in physics from the University of Chittagong. Later on, he received a degree on computer science and engineering from Dhaka International University.
