Tahmina Akhter joined Agrani Bank PLC as deputy managing director on Thursday, said a press release.
She was posted at Agrani Bank through a circular signed by Jehad Uddin, deputy secretary of the Financial Institutions Department of the Ministry of Finance on Wednesday.
Prior to this, she served as DMD at Rupali Bank.
She joined Rupali Bank as senior officer in 1998 through BRC.
She obtained her bachelor鈥檚 and master鈥檚 degrees from psychology department of the University of Dhaka. She is an honorary diplomate associate of the Institute of Bankers Bangladesh.
