Global Islami Bank on Thursday reconstituted its six-member Shariah supervisory committee, said a press release.
The committee was reconstituted in a board meeting held at the bank鈥檚 head office in the capital Dhaka on the day.
Chairman of Jamea Quasemia Kamil Madrasah, Narsingdi Sayed Kamaluddin Zafree was elected chairman of the committee.
Other members of the committee are Mohammad Abdus Samad, former Manarat International University professor, Mohammad Shah Wali Ullah, Khatib of SobhanBag Jame Mosjid, Dhaka, Mohammad Muhibbullahil Baki, Pesh Imam of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque, Dhaka,
Mohammad Monzur E Elahi, associate professor of National University, Gazipur, Muhammad Sayedul Haque, professor (grade 1) of Bangladesh Open University, Gazipur.
GIB chairman Mohammad Nurul Amin, vice-chairman Md Zamal Mollah, managing director Syed Habib Hasnat, deputy managing directors Ataus Samad and Sami Karim, among others, were present in the meeting.
