A total of 82 officials from BRAC Bank were officially certified by the Bangladesh Insurance Academy after completing bancassurance training on Wednesday, said a press release.
The training programme equipped the officials with skills to cater insurance services to customers through the bank鈥檚 branch network, it said.
With this certification, the total number of bancassurance-certified officials at BRAC Bank has reached 600.
Financial Institutions Division secretary Nazma Mobarek was present as chief guest.
MetLife Bangladesh chief executive officer Muhammad Ala Uddin Ahmad, Pragati Life Insurance managing director M Jalalul Azim and BRAC Bank deputy managing director and SME banking head Syed Abdul Momen were present as special guests.
FID additional secretary Md Sayed Kutub presided over the event.
BIA chief faculty member SM Ibrahim Hossain coordinated the course.
