Chattogram north zone and Chattogram south zone of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC organised an agent banking business development conference and workshop on Prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing.
Islami Bank deputy managing director Mahmudur Rahman addressed the conference as chief guest at a hotel in Chattogram on Friday.
AKM Mahbub Morshed, senior executive vice president and head of Development Wing of the bank, presided over the function.
M Zubayer Azam Helali, executive vice president and head of Chattogram north zone, Abdul Naser, executive vice president and head of Chattogram south zone, and Abul Laise Mohd Khaled, executive vice president and head of Agent Banking Division of the bank, conducted the different sessions of the conference.
Head of branches and proprietors of the agent banking outlets under the two zones attended the conference.
