Private US-Bangla Airlines on Friday launched its inaugural flight from Bangladesh capital Dhaka to Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.
The US-Bangla Group general manager, Kamrul Islam, said that they could establish connectivity with Abu Dhabi after two major cities鈥擠ubai and Sharjah鈥攊n the gulf state.
The first flight carrying 174 passengers on a Boeing 737-800 from Chattogram started its journey from Dhaka at 4:00pm on Friday.
The flight would be operated on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from Dhaka and on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays from Chattogram.
