
Daffodil Foundation, a sister concern of Daffodil Group, organised a reunion on Tuesday for meritorious students from public universities on the Daffodil International School, Baburhat campus in Chandpur.
The event brought together scholarship recipients who shared their experiences, challenges, and stories of pursuing higher education, said a press release.
They expressed gratitude to the Daffodil Foundation鈥攁 non-governmental, non-profitable, and charitable organisation鈥攆or its vital support in their academic journey.
The students highlighted how the scholarships not only provided financial aid but also boosted their confidence and helped them move forward with renewed hope.
Daffodil Group founder and Daffodil International University chairman Md Sabur Khan attended the event, along with Daffodil International School, Chandpur principal Noor Khan, Chandpur Press Club president Rahim Badsha, general secretary Kader Palash.
In his speech, Sabur Khan urged students to be positive, aim for entrepreneurship, and focus on self-development as a foundation for social change. He also encouraged them to read and understand the Holy Quran and act on its teachings.
Guests at the event emphasised the role of education in nation-building and expressed hope that the Daffodil Foundation would continue to support deserving students in the future.
Senior assistant director of Daffodil Family, Chandpur Rubel Khan, project manager of Daffodil Jeebika Project Asadullah Ghalib, coordinator of Daffodil Foundation Iqbal Hossain and other officials and employees were also present.
