Milestone College and Milestone Preparatory KG School welcomed the Bengali New Year 1432 with traditional arrangements of the prevailing culture on Monday.
The green campus of Milestone Preparatory KG School at Diabari in Uttara of Dhaka takes on a colourful appearance to celebrate Pahela Baishakh, said a press release.
On the occasion, a cultural programme was organised at Kamaluddin Seminar Hall of Milestone College where dance, song, recitation, drama and various patriotic performances performed by the students.
Principal of the college Mohammad Ziaul Alam was present as chief guest at the event. Vice-principal (administration) Md Masud Alam, principal of Milestone Preparatory KG School鈥檚 Diabari campus Captain Md Jahangir Alam Khan (retired) and head-mistress Khadija Akter were also present.聽
