A 25-year-old youth was crushed under the wheels of a train in Khilgaon rail gate area in Dhaka on early Monday.
The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Md Bachchu Mia, in-charge of Dhaka Medical College Hospital police outpost, said that pedestrians brought a youth, whose two legs were severed, to the hospital and he breathed his last while undergoing treatment at about 5:20am.
The incident was informed to Dhaka Railway Police, he added.
