The police recovered the throat-slit body of a young man from the Rohingya camp of Ukhiya upazila in Cox鈥檚 Bazar early Sunday.
The deceased was Noor Kamal, 29, son of Noor Salam of block D/14 at Rohingya Camp No 19 in Ukhiya.
Ukhiya police station officer-in-charge Md Shamim Hossain said that, upon receiving the information, our police team went to the spot and recovered the body. The local Rohingya residents identified the deceased as Noor Kamal.
The murder may be committed over establishing dominance in the Rohingya camp, he added.
The body was sent to Cox鈥檚 Bazar Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
