The Directorate General of Health Services ordered all government hospitals across the country to remove illegal canteens and medicine shops from hospital compounds.
The DGHS director (hospitals and clinics) Abu Hussain Md Moinul Ahsan issued the order on Thursday.
The office order asked not to lease out any more canteens or medicine shops in any hospitals.
The order also asked not to renew any lease contact and to realise if any due.
