A Border Guard Police member of Myanmar and a Rohingya person entered Bangladesh with bullet-wounds on Wednesday afternoon.

Officer-in-charge of Ukhiya police station Md Shamim Hossain confirmed the matter, adding that the wounded persons were now under treatment at Ukhiya Rohingya camp in Cox鈥檚 Bazar.


They are K Pew Kain, 22, a member of 3rd Battalion (BGP) at Buditongship Tongbazar camp of Myanmar鈥檚 Rakhine State, and Yusuf Nabi, 19, son of Hossain Ahmed, a resident of Buchidong Aliong area of Myanmar.

According to the sources of 8 Armed Police Battalion, two Myanmar people were detained during their infiltration. Both of them were wounded. They were sent to IRC Hospital in B/5 Block of Camp-11 for treatment.
