Bangladesh Accreditation Council has received first application from American International University-Bangladesh for obtaining the accreditation certificate.
AIUB submitted the application on Thursday for accreditation of the university鈥檚 Electrical and Electronics Engineering program, said a BAC press release.
BAC chairman Professor Mesbahuddin Ahmed formally accepted the application in presence of its full-time member Istiaq Ahmed and Professor Gulshan Ara Latifa were also present.
BAC secretary professor AKM Munirul Islam, director of Accreditation Department Professor Nasir Uddin Ahmed along with other high officials directors, deputy directors, assistant directors and officials were also present.
AIUB鈥檚 director of Institutional Quality Assurance Cell, Farhin Hasan, submitted the application on behalf of the university.
