The department of civil engineering at Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology organised a seminar titled 鈥楻esilient Civil Infrastructure for the Future: A Journey from Earth to Space鈥� on Tuesday.
Lecturer Tafsiruzzaman of Adelaide University in Australia was the key speaker at the seminar, organised at the seminar room of academic building-1 of CUET. He discussed various important topics on civil engineering at the event, said a press release.
Immediately after the seminar, Didarul Alam, president of American Society of Civil Engineers Bangladesh section, spoke on 鈥楤uilding a robust Civil Engineering Career for the Needs of the Future鈥�. He praised various activities of ASCE student chapter at CUET.
The seminar was organised with the funding of CUET planning and development office.
