The National Museum of Science and Technology director general Muhammad Munir Chowdhury has urged the railway management to perform their duties with dedication, honesty and efficiency depending on technology.

He made this urge on Sunday while addressing the 41st batch of Bangladesh Civil Service railway cadre officers who were undergoing training at the Bangladesh Railway Training Academy in Chittagong, said a press release.
Railway is the safest and most reliable public transport. Modern technology, including drones can be used for the safety of railway crossings, accurate signaling management of railways and saving railway tracks from sabotage activities, he said.
Inspection is very important for any efficient institutional management, he added, mentioning that the young officers had to take a strict vow to ensure cleanliness and quality food supply in the railways and to prevent any incidents of irregularities.
Munir Chowdhury also said that it must be believed that corruption and ill-gotten gains bring ruin and degradation to the personal and family lives of government officials.
