The body of a 23-year-old man was recovered from Narayanpur border area in Companiganj upazila in Sylhet on Sunday morning.
The deceased was identified as Nuruzzaman, son of late Hanif Ali of village Chikadahar of the upazila.
When some villagers went a bordering river for fishing at about 7:30am, they saw the body floating in the river and informed the police.
On information, the Border Guard Bangladesh and local police recovered the body.
Sub-inspector Asadul Islam, second officer of Companiganj Police Station, confirmed the incident.
