The Bangladesh University of Professionals celebrated its 15th founding anniversary organising various programmes on Wednesday.
The BUP vice-chancellor, Major General Md Mahbub-ul Alam, released fish fries in the lake and planted trees marking the day.
Later, the BUP high officials, faculty members, staff and students participated in a colourful rally.
Besides, various stalls were set up on campus under the supervision of different clubs operated by faculties of the university.
The BUP vice-chancellor and senior officials visited the stalls and spoke with club presidents, who shared current activities, successes and achievements of their clubs.
