Bangladesh Rural Development Academy concluded the 196th basic training course, organised for Bangladesh Civil Service (general education) cadre officers, on Sunday.
BARD director general Saif Uddin Ahmed presided over the closing ceremony of the four-month long training course, said a press release.
Md Saiduzzaman, deputy director of National Academy for Educational Management, was present as guest of honour. BARD director (training) Abdullah Al Mamun and course director of the training Shisir Kumar Munshi, director of BARD Jonaid Rahim and joint director served as the course coordinator.
Saifun Nahar, deputy director and Farooq Hossain, assistant director, BARD, served as course associate and assistant course director respectively.
Chairpersons award for overall performance in the course was awarded to Mohammad Moddachir Uddin, lecturer (management) Kabirhat Government College, Noakhali.
A total of 50 BCS (general education) cadre officers participated in the course.
