Milestone College became the champion of the anti-corruption debate competition held by Anti-Corruption Committee-Dhaka Uttara Region, said a press release.

Eight educational institutions situated in Uttara, Dhaka participated in the competition, which was organised by the Anti-Corruption Commission, Integrated District Office, Dhaka-1 at BAF Shaheen College on June 8.


Milestone College won the competition defeating Dhaka Cantonment Girls’ Public School & College. Milestone College student Shishir Akhter Mim became the best speaker.

Milestone College principal Mohammad Ziaul Alam, senior director, administration, of the college Md Masud Alam and Milestone College debating club moderator Shafayet Uddin congratulated the Milestone College debate team for winning the competition.

The principal said such an achievement was a matter of pride for Milestone College.

He thinks that anti-corruption events involving students play a role in raising awareness among people.
