
Bangladesh Food Safety Authority signed a contract with member of parliament for Dhaka-10 constituency actor Ferdous Ahmed for the fiscal year 2024-25.
The authority has signed the one-year contract at its conference room in Dhaka to expand its activities and reach out to the masses.
Ferdous said, ‘Those who commit adulteration cannot be corrected in a day. Therefore, the work of food safety should be done more diligently.’
BFSA chairman Zakaria presided over the event started at 3:00pm, said a press release.
Abu Noor Md Shamsuzzaman, a member of the authority, gave a welcome speech on the occasion. He said, ‘As a result of this agreement, the image of the Safe Food Authority will be brighter to the people of the country.’
Ferdous Ahmed started working as the goodwill ambassador of Bangladesh Food Safety Authority for the first time in the 2023-24 financial year. He was re-engaged as a goodwill ambassador for the financial year 2024-25.
Md Mizanur Rahman, director of the authority conducted the programme.
