The Daffodil International University authorities along with Prime Islami Life Insurance Company Ltd handed over Tk 1.2 crore death insurance claim cheque to 40 students of the university at a programme on Tuesday.

They received Tk 3 lakh each against Guardians Insurance claim at the program held at the Professor Aminul Islam Auditorium of the university, said a press release issued on Wednesday.


Chief consultant (board) of the Prime Islami Life Insurance Company Ltd Rahim Ud 鈥揇oula Chowdhury was present as chief guest while the DIU pro-vice-chancellor Professor SM Mahbub Ul Haque Majumder was present as guest of honour at the programme, which was presided over by the university treasurer Hamidul Haque Khan.

Prime Islami Life Insurance Company鈥檚 chief executive officer Md Shamsul Alam, its deputy managing director Anisur Rahman, and finance and accounts director Mominul Haque were present as special guests at the programme.聽

Daffodil International University brought its all students, guardians, teachers and employees under the insurance risk coverage of natural death, accidental death, permanent disability of all types and permanent partial disability since 2014 through Prime Islami Life Insurance Company Ltd.
