The Gono Bishwabidyalay celebrated its 26th founding anniversary at Savar in Dhaka on Sunday, said a press release.聽
To mark the day, a rally was brought out from the main gate of the university, which ended in front of its academic building.
Led by vice-chancellor of the university Professor Md Abul Hossain, its registrar S Tasaddek Ahmed and deans of different faculties, teachers and students of of the university participated in the rally.
Founded by the non-profit Gonoshasthaya Kendra, Gono Bishwabidyalay is now operating its academic and administrating activity on its permanent campus at Nolam in Savar.
