Expressing grief over the causalities during the violence across Bangladesh, centring job quota reform movement, state minister for information and broadcasting Mohammad Ali Arafat said on Tuesday that action would be taken against the attackers, perpetrators and killers upon investigation.
He made the remark while talking to reporters at the residence of the law minister in Gulshan.
鈥楾he protesting students were used as shield. They [attackers] had plans to burn down internet [infrastructure] and kept backup as per the plan,鈥� he said.
Arafat also said that prime minister had asked the students to be patient, and that their demands would be met.
