The senior secretary to the Public Security Division, Md Jahangir Alam, has been sent on compulsory retirement.
A notification in this regard signed by public administration ministry deputy secretary Md Alamgir Kabir was issued on Wednesday.
According to the notification, Md Jahangir Alam was sent on retirement under Section 45 of the Government Service Retirement Act 2018 as he completed 25 years of service and the government considers it necessary in the public interest.
