The government on Saturday appointed Mahbub Morshed as the new managing director and chief editor of the state-run national news agency Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha on a two-year contract.
Public Administration Ministry issued a gazette notification in this regard in the afternoon.
It said that other conditions of the appointment would be fixed on the basis of the contract.
鈥楾he notification will come into immediate effect,鈥� the notification read.
