The Student Movement Against Discrimination on Monday formed four new teams to reorganize the platform that led the mass protests forcing Sheikh Hasina to resign as Bangladesh prime minister and flee the country on August 5.
One of the key coordinators of the anti-discrimination student movement, Hasnat Abdullah, shared this information in a post on his Facebook profile.
The teams are: Organising Wing, Programme Implementation Wing, Media and Communication Wing, and Authorisation Wing.
In his Facebook post, Hasnat Abdullah wrote that the teams would primarily work towards reorganizing the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement platform.
‘To maintain discipline and eliminate confusion caused by false coordinators, the current teams would work on authorization and the formation of new committees,’ he said in the statement.
Hasnat abdullah also said that the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement would continue to work towards fulfilling the hopes and aspirations of the people.
