Three senior police officers have been sent on forced retirement on Wednesday.
The officials are additional inspector general of police Md Atiqul Islam, deputy inspector general of police Md Anwar Hossain and additional police commissioner, Counter Terrorism & Transnational Crime, Md Asaduzzaman.
The Public Security Division of home affairs ministry issued three separate notifications in this regard.
Earlier on August 13, former Special Branch chief, additional inspector general of police, Md Monirul Islam and former Dhaka Metropolitan Police commissioner Habibur Rahman were sent on forced retirement.
