A case was filed against 75 Awami League men, including former KCC mayor Talukder Abdul Khaleque, former parliament members - Begum Monnujan Sufian and SM Kamal Hossain with Khalishpur police station on charge of vandalism, arson and looting of Ward no-7 BNP office on August 27.
Joint convener of the city鈥檚 ward no-7 BNP unit Ilias Hossain filed the case on Wednesday as complainant, against 75 named and 50 to 60 unnamed AL men, Md Anwar Hossain, Officer-in-Charge of Khalishpur Police Station, confirmed the matter to BSS.
According to the case statement, over 100 of AL, Juba League, BCL and Swechasebok League men led by Khaleque, Monnujan and Kamal, vandalized, looted and set fire on the BNP鈥檚 office on August 27.
The complainant could not be able to lodge a case fearing revenge.
