Former Awami League lawmaker for Dhaka-13 Sadek Khan was arrested on Saturday from Paschim Nakhalpara in Dhaka.
Sadek, also former AL Dhaka north city unit general secretary, was arrested in a case filed with Mohammadpur police station, Dhaka Metropolitan Police media cell confirmed the matter.
Mohammadpur police station, inspector investigation, Md Tofazzal Hossain said that Sadek Khan was arrested in a murder case filed on August 22.
The DMP Tejgaon Division deputy commissioner Ruhul Kabir said several cases were filed against Sadek Khan with the Mohammapur police station.
