Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University鈥檚 radiology and imaging department professor Dr Md Nazrul Islam has been appointed as acting registrar of the university.聽
A BSMMU office order on Saturday said that Nazrul Islam was given the post of registrar (acting) as an additional responsibility.
Professor Dr Nazrul Islam obtained his bachelor of medicine, bachelor of surgery from Sher-e-Bangla Medical College in 1994. He has obtained FCPS, MD (doctor of medicine) and MPhil degrees.
He has 36 publications, including indexed and non-indexed in various journals of the country and abroad. He has participated in various trainings and conferences related to medical services and medical profession held in different countries, including Singapore and Germany.
