Mir Group of Companies had clarified that it had no affiliation with the Chattogram -based Mir Group or the S Alam Group, said a press release on Tuesday.
In the press release, the authorities of Mir Group of Companies said, ‘Recently, certain media reports have caused confusion between the Dhaka-based Mir Group and the Chattogram-based Mir Group. We would like to emphasise that the Dhaka-based Mir Group, also known as Mir Group of Companies has no affiliation with the Chattogram -based Mir Group or the S Alam Group.’
‘Furthermore, our operations are exclusively focused on the construction and information technology sectors, where we have been proudly contributing to the nation’s development since 1960,’ the release said.
‘Among our esteemed ventures are — Mir Akhtar Hossain, Mir Cement, Mir Concrete Block, Mir Real Estate, and Mir Info Systems, along with numerous other established concerns. These entities have consistently played a vital role in advancing the construction and information technology sectors, both domestically and internationally,’ the release said.
