Ashik Chowdhury has been appointed as the new executive chairman of the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority for a two-year term, with the status of a senior secretary.
The public administration ministry issued a gazette notification to this effect on Thursday.
Further terms of Ashik鈥檚 appointment would be specified in the approved contract. The appointment was made in the public interest, read the notice.
