Bangladesh National Hindu Grand Alliance at a protest rally on Friday demanded an end to border killings by the Indian Border Security Force, and justice for the two Hindu teenagers killed by the BSF recently.

Instead of arresting those who violate rules, the BSF brutally kills Bangladeshi citizens as usual, they said at the rally in front of the National Press Club in the capital.

Secretary general of the alliance, advocate Gobinda Chandra Pramanik, said that the Indian BSF killed two Bangladeshi teenagers at the borders within a week, which violated the border law.

‘We request to the interim government to take strong steps against the border killing by the BSF,’ said Gobinda.

He also said that after the fall of Sheikh Hasina government, two Hindus were killed and 132 houses came under attack by miscreants, and most of the owners of the houses were politically involved with the Awami League.

‘But, the vested interests are trying to establish it as sectarian attacks,’ he mentioned, adding that since August 5, 30 to 35 Hindu village temples were vandalised by the miscreants.

As vested interests are trying to divide people of the country by spreading rumour about critically injured Utsab Mandal as dead, Gobinda urged people of the country to be aware about those rumours.

Presided over by the alliance’s president advocate Dinabandhu Ray, the students’ front of the alliance also participated in the rally.
