The Centre for Heritage Studies has organised children鈥檚 drawing competition marking the World Tourism Day 2024 at its office in Dinajpur recently.

Different schools children of the district participated in the competition.


The CHS conducted a month-long training programme under the theme Tourism for Peace, participated by different schools children of the district, said a press release on Tuesday.

Apart from introducing the various historical places of the district to the children, they also informed about tourism.

Professor Shahnaz Husna Jahan, director of the Centre for Heritage Studies, said that socio-social development of Dinajpur was possible only through development of tourism industry in Dinajpur by developing industrial culture and preserving heritage.

Administrative director of the Centre, Sonia Hye and deputy director Sheikh Zahirul Islam, among others, were present at the prize distribution ceremony.
