Posts, telecommunications, and information technology adviser Nahid Islam, and fisheries and livestock adviser Farida Akhter visited ailing poet and thinker Farhad Mazhar and Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University vice-chancellor Professor Md Abdul Latif at the Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College and Hospital in Dhaka on Saturday.
He also held a meeting with the anti-discrimination students of this unit in room 508 of the hospital.
The teacher representative of the anti-discrimination student movement, the SAU student counselling and guidance director Rashedul Islam informed Nahid about the VC鈥檚 admission to Cabin 511 due to dengue, added the press release.
Nahid and Farida Akhtar visited the VC under treatment and inquired about his physical condition.
In response to a question from the students present at the time, Nahid Islam said that those who attacked and tortured the students in the movement would be brought to justice.
