Former chairman of the NCC Bank SM Abu Mohsin died at Apollo Imperial Hospitals in Chattogram on Monday, said a press release.
He was 72. He is survived by his widow and four sons.
His firsst namaz-e-janaza was held at the Jamaitul Falah Jame Masjid in Chattogram after zuhr prayers on Tuesday. He was buried at his family graveyard at Kadurkhil village of Boalkhali in the district after second Namaz-e-Janaza.
Born in Chittagong in 1952, SM Abu Mohsin was chairman of the Alliance Deep Sea Fishing Limited, JM Shipping Lines, Food and Accommodation Company Limited, and managing director of Brothers Oxygen Limited, among others.
He was associated with many social and educational organisations.
