A tourist died after falling from a water bike on Cox's Bazar beach on Monday afternoon.
The deceased was Mohammad Al Mamun Howladar, 36, son of Nure Alam Howladar of Uzirpur upazila of Barisal.
District administration executive magistrate (tourism cell) Tanveer Hossain confirmed the matter and said that Al Mamun rode a water bike on Monday afternoon at the seagull point.
He fell into the sea water because of an accident. Later, he was rescued unconscious and taken to the hospital where the on duty doctor declared him dead, the magistrate added.
