A mobile court has sentenced three people to three months of jail as they tried to snatch luggage of passengers at the Hazrat Shajalal International Airport in Dhaka.
The convicts are Md Noor Alam, 28, Md Razu Ahmed alias Zahid, 31, and Antor Mia, 21.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of Dhaka metropolitan police arrested the trio while they were trying to snatch luggage from passengers at Dhaka airport on Thursday.
Later, police produced the snatchers before a mobile court which handed down the aforesaid verdict against them.
