Md Dulal Hossain has been elected president and Md Iqbal Hossain as secretary of the Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation Employees Union.
The 19-member BIWTC Employees Union Dhaka Dhaka head office unit committee was formed at its annual general meeting on October 22, said a press release on Friday.
The committee consists of, among others, vice-president Shamim Uddin Mallik, organising secretary Md Shahidul Islam, publicity secretary Kamrul Huda, office secretary Gopal Debnath, andfinance secretary Hasanul Islam.
