A team of the Bangladesh army on Saturday arrested one more person at Chakaria upazila of Cox鈥檚 Bazar in connection with the murder of lieutenant Tanjim Sarwar Nirjon.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of Bangladesh army conducted a drive in Rangmahal area of Chakaria at about 10:30am and arrested Kamal Uddin Prokash, 35, said an Inter-Services Public Relations press release.
During primary interrogation, the arrested person confessed to the killing of Tanjim. He was handed over to Chakaria police station.
So far, 12 people have been arrested in connection with the murder of Tanjim.
On September 24, Tanjim, 23, was stabbed to death during a drive in Chakaria upazila of Cox鈥檚 Bazar.
Later, the army filed a case with Chakaria police station in connection with the murder.
