The Armed Police Battalion on Tuesday filed a general diary with Airport police station against the Aviation Security (AVSEC) alleging vandalism at their office inside the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka and taking away goods.聽
Assistant superintendent of police of the APBN Zakir Hossain filed the GD accusing AVSEC for grabbing their office near Airport Gate 33 as well.
Officials said that after the fall of Sheikh Hasina amid student-led uprising on August 5, the APBN members left the airport away when AVSEC led by Air Forces took the charge.
The APBN is now conducting duty at the landside area. But they have wanted charge of airside, which led to the conflict, said the airport officials.
According to the GD, the AVSEC asked the APBN to remove their goods from an office used by them. But the APBN was not relocating them as they had kept their documents, stickers, CCTV camera, signboard and computers, among others.
