The Anti-Corruption Commission on Monday summoned Bangladesh Television senior engineer Md Monirul Islam to appear at the commission鈥檚 headquarters in Segun Bagicha on November 11 in connection with allegations of a money embezzlement incident.聽
The ACC deputy director Khairul Hasan sent a letter to Monirul Islam asking him to appear at 12:00pm at the headquarters to give his statement regarding the allegation.
The ACC deputy director public relations Aktarul Islam said that there were allegations against the BTV chief engineer Monir Ahmed of embezzling Tk 40 lakh in the name of providing the money to Quality Powertec Engineering Ltd.
