The High Court on Thursday released full text of its judgment, cancelling proceedings of six cases filed against Nobel Laureate professor Muhammad Yunus.
A HC division bench of Justice AKM Asaduzzaman and Justice Syed Enayet Hossain passed the judgment last month after holding hearing on six separate pleas filed for professor Yunus, incumbent chief adviser of interim government.
As the full text of the judgment was released, petitioner鈥檚 counsel Mostafizur Rahman Khan disclosed the matter to reporters.
Five separate cases were filed in 2019 with labour court against Grameen Communication chairman professor Muhammad Yunus and managing director Naznin Sultana. A defamation case was also filed against Yunus in 2011. The HC cancelled proceedings of all those six cases, he said.
