Professor Iftikharul Alam Masud of the Arabic department has been made the new registrar (in-charge) of Rajshahi University.
RU vice-chancellor professor Saleh Hasan Naqib appointed him to the post on Sunday, said a press release.
Professor Masud replaced additional registrar Sheikh Saad Ahmed, who was earlier appointed as the acting registrar by vice-chancellor Saleh Hasan Naqib on September 6.
