The Milestone College has organised the annual sports competition for Class XII students on the permanent campus of the college at Diabari in Dhaka.
Principal of the college, Mohammad Ziaul Alam, inaugurated the competition at a ceremony on November 25, said a press release on Wednesday.
Bangla medium and English version鈥檚 boys of the class are taking part in the competition commenced on November 25, and will continue till December 4.
The students will get the opportunity to participate in 100 and 200 meter sprints, 800 meter race and relay race, long jump, volleyball, and football. The finals for boys will be held on December 10.
On the other hand, the competition for the girls of the class will start from December 5 and will continue till December 8.
They will have the opportunity to participate in 100 and 200 meter sprints, 800 meter race and relay race, long jump, volleyball, handball, and skipping.
The finals for the girls will be held on December 11.
Vice-principal (administration) of the college Md Masud Alam, vice-principals Professor Zahirul Haque and Umme Salma Rouf, lecturer of physical education and sports Shipra Biswas and Md Nasirul Islam were present at the inaugural ceremony.
