The university vice-chancellor, professor Niaz Ahmed Khan, inaugurated the service as the chief guest at a special event.

The service is launched on a trial basis for the next three months. Three un-air-conditioned minibuses will operate on three routes on the campus, running from 7:00am to 9:00pm daily.

He further said that this was a small but positive step.
