Two vehicles, including a private car and a microbus, were hit by a train at Moghbazar level crossing in the capital on Sunday evening.

No causality was reported in the incident as passengers of the two vehicles came down before the train hit those vehicles, according to railway police.

Dhaka Railway police station officer-in-charge Joynal Abedin said that the incident took place at about 5:30pm on Sunday.

‘Two vehicles crossed the signal barrier before it was placed. The passengers got off from their vehicles,’ Joynal said, without detailing more.

Hatirjheel police station officer-in-charge Mohammad Raju said that none was even injured in the incident as passengers and drivers left vehicles before the train reached.
